The Maxitrol 12A39 is a 3/8″ NPT automatic vent limiting device designed for use with the 325-5A & 325-5AL regulators. The vent limiting device allows for unobstructed inhalation for quick regulator diaphragm response during the opening cycle, but limits gas escapement to within ANSI and EN 88 requirements in case of a diaphragm rupture.
